MAUSER Starts Reconditioning Joint Venture in Brazil

MAUSER Group, a worldwide leading company in industrial packaging, signed a reconditioning joint venture agreement with Bressan Inovações Ambientais in Brazil. With this partnership, MAUSER expands its reconditioning activities in the South of Brazil in order to better serve its customers in the region.

MAUSER adjusts Prices in Europe to compensate for Cost Increases
Bruehl/Germany, April 1, 2012
To manage the sharp increase for HDPE as well as for steel, MAUSER is obliged to ask all customers of HDPE components (Plastic packaging, and plastic parts of MAUSER IBCs) to accept a price increase of € 150/ton for HDPE as well as a price increase of € 80/ton for steel (steel drums and IBCs).
The new prices will be effective as of April 1st, 2012 or as contracts allow.
All existing contracts will be honoured.
