 Dr. Clemens Willée
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Dr. Clemens Willée assumed the position as Chief Executive Officer of the
MAUSER Group in October 2008.
He has held various senior management positions both within BASF, where he spent
almost 12 years, and with Dystar, a spin-off of the chemical groups Hoechst, Bayer and BASF,
where he spent 6 years, including 2 years as Chief Executive Officer. Most recently Dr. Willée
headed BASF’s global Styrenics business.
He studied at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, where he obtained a Masters Degree in
business administration and a Doctoral Degree in marketing.
His mother tongue is German; he also speaks English, French and Portuguese fluently.

 Winfried Klar
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Winfried Klar joined the Mauser Group as CFO in January 2010.
He worked 20 years as CFO for several companies (e.g. Evonik, VESTOLIT) and in different branches as solar and chemical production, retail and environmental protection business.
This gained a long-standing experience in M&A-processes, business restructuring and complex funding measures.
Mr. Klar performed 10 years as C.P.A. and tax consultant for Price Waterhouse after receiving his degree in economics from the University of Münster in Germany.
His mother tongue is German and he speaks English fluently.

 Louis Pourdieu
Chief Operating Officer
Louis Pourdieu joined Mauser Group as COO in January 2009.
He has 20 years experience at Faurecia (automotive supplier) essentially
in the purchasing and industrial fields – he was more recently in charge
of industrial operations for the exhaust and the seating business groups.
Louis holds an engineering degree of the Ecole Centrale Paris, a Msc at
Cambridge University and earned a MBA at Insead as well.
Louis speaks French as mother tongue as well as English and
German fluently.

 Björn Kreiter
Head of Group Controlling
Björn Kreiter is our Head of Group Controlling. Mr. Kreiter joined MAUSER in 1997
as a Project Manager for the implementation of an ERP-System and the corresponding
Controlling and Management-Information System.
Since 1998, he has been responsible for the Controlling activities of the Group.
Before joining us, Mr. Kreiter worked as a Financial Controller at KBC. Mr.
Kreiter received a degree as Diplom-Betriebswirt from the Business Academy (BA)
in Lörrach/Baden Württemberg. He also completed a Diploma Program in Controlling
at the Controller-Academy (CA) in Munich as certified Controller CA.
Upon completion of the Junior Management Program at the Management Academy in
St. Gallen/Switzerland, he also attended a Financial Management Program at Stanford University.
He speaks German as mother tongue and English fluently.

 Dr. Jürgen Scherer
SBU Manager Europe
Dr. Jürgen Scherer joined the Mauser Group as SBU Manager Europe in October 2011.
He has been with Cognis (now part of BASF) for the last 12 years in various management positions, as Group Vice President Purchasing & Supply Chain Services, Global Sales & Key Account Management for the Care Chemicals division and as Managing Director of Cognis Germany. Before he was for 12 years with Henkel, among those for 2,5 years with Henkel Corporation in the US.
Jürgen holds a MBA and Ph.D. in Economics from Cologne University. He speaks German as mother tongue and English fluently.

 Jeff Simmonds
SBU Manager North America
Jeff Simmonds joined Mauser Group as SBU Manager North America in July 2011.
Jeff spent over twenty-five years in the chemical industry starting his career with Stauffer Chemical where he held several sales and senior marketing roles. At Akzo Nobel Chemicals, Jeff ran a number of global specialty chemical businesses as General Manager. More recently he was President & CEO at Akcros Chemicals Ltd., a privately held polymer additives company.
Jeff holds an undergraduate degree in biology from Westminster College and earned an MBA at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

 Robert Selke
SBU Manager South America
Robert Selke joined Mauser Group as SBU Manager South America in February 2009.
He has a 10 year experience running Brazilian and Latin American businesses as
General Manager, where he was more recently in charge of the Brazilian business of
Alcan Packaging and, before that, responsible for the SunChemical business in
Northern Latin America.
Robert holds an engineering degree of the Escola de Engenharia Maua
and earned a MBA at Fundação Alvares Penteado as well.
Robert speaks Portuguese as mother tongue as well as English, German
and Spanish fluently.

 Peter H. Schäfer
Head of Reconditioning Division
SBU Manager Asia
Peter H. Schäfer has been President and Chief Executive Officer of NCG,
which we recently acquired, since 2003. Prior to that time, from 1996 to 2003,
Mr. Schäfer was President and Chief Executive Officer of Schütz Container Systems
in the United States. From 1982 to 1996, he was with Bayer AG, Germany, and his
responsibilities included serving as Head of Purchasing and Special Projects,
as well as Head and General Manager of Bayer's world-wide rubber and chemicals
business division. As Head of Materials Management at Bayer, he was involved in
setting up joint ventures and analyzing production locations in the Far East including China.
Mr. Schäfer received his degree in economics from the University of Mannheim in Germany.
He speaks German as mother tongue and English fluently.
